FAQ's

 

Q: Can I use my own orthotics with these shoes?

 

A: Probably.  The special insoles are easily removable.  If you use custom orthotics, they may be able to be used right on top of our existing insole, or your orthotist or other footcare professional should be able to modify yours to work as a replacement insole.

 

Q: Are they adjustable?

 

A: Yes.  The laces or hook-and-loop straps are fully functional.  They are intended to be set once by you or your caregiver and from then on, use the hands-free system to get in and out of your Quikiks™

 

Q: What if they are too difficult for me to open?

 

A: Each pair of Quikiks™ comes with a set of medium-strength magnets pre-installed.  We have weaker magnets available at no charge upon request that can be easily swapped out.

 

Q: What if they open too easily?

 

A: Each pair of Quikiks™ comes with a set of medium-strength magnets pre-installed.  We have stronger magnets available at no charge upon request that you can easily swap out.  Installing the stronger magnets will increase the securing strength so they do not open as easily.

 

Q: What if they don’t fit.

 

A: If the shoes are returned in new condition, they will be exchanged at no additional cost to you.
